Base Gradient Colors

💡 History Fading (Decay) Algorithm:

This algorithm simulates the "fading of memory" over time. A point's color depends on how long ago it became historical relative to the total animation duration.

  • Just Exited: A point that just died in the current frame starts with the History (Recent Exit) color.
  • Gradual Decay: As the timeline progresses, the point's color shifts through intermediate stages.
  • Deep History: Only points that have been historical for the entire duration of the timeline will eventually reach the History (Faded Deep) color by the end of the animation.
